Clever Dripper (Clear)
My endgame dripper. This is the pour over cone I use to taste all coffees.
After many years of trying practically every pour-over method imaginable, you come to realize that the humble Clever Dripper had it right all along. The best of immersion brewing combined with the best of percolation, this brewer is incredibly forgiving and will deliver exceptional coffees with little to no effort- every single time. You have to really work to fuck this up. Just pour and walk away for a few minutes, then come back and plunge it. You don’t even need to pour gently or in any specific way. You don’t even need to bloom!
Uses #4 paper filters that you can find in almost any grocery store in America. Alternatively, and recommended, you can use the OEM Kalita FP 103 filters which in my experience are moderately high flow, rarely clog, are very consistent, economical, and don’t require rinsing before use.
Made of medical grade clear Tritan plastic, the brewer is virtually indestructible. Extremely easy to clean too, and the parts are even easily replaceable! (and actually available!)
Includes a little drip catch plate, and a very handy Tritan plastic lid to keep brew temps consistent.
Makes a 300g/ml cup very comfortably.
